Download PDFThe effect of mat (Cyprus rotundis) industry effluent in different concentrations (viz. 5%, 10%, 15%, 25%, 30%, 35%, 40%, 45%, 50% ) on the photosynthetic pigment contents in leaves of Lablab purpureus(L.) was studied . Ground water treated plants were used as control and as well as diluent. Physico-chemical, Elemental analysis of effluent and ground water were also studied . Photosynthetic pigments like total chlorophyll, chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, carotenoids were decreased with increasing effluent concentration.
Keywords: Effluent, growth, photosynthetic pigments, physico-chemical, elemental analysis
