In this investigation the impact of female participation in the labor force, per capita income, female literacy rate, infant mortality rate, government expenditure on education, government expenditure on health services, number of girls school, on fertility has been studied through simultaneous equations model by using four equations. The study although li mited in scope, clearly points to the need for improving these fertility determinants, all of which will result in the reduction of fertility after improvement.
